The present invention relates to a briquette using by-products from steelmaking, that can increase the hardness of a briquette and can reduce costs for manufacturing a briquette in manufacturing a briquette using by-products from steelmaking as a raw material; and to a manufacturing method thereof. The method for manufacturing a briquette according to an embodiment of the present invention is a method for manufacturing a briquette using by-products from steel making, comprising: a pretreatment step of adding ladle slag and gypsum to a mixed raw material including coke settling pond sludge to reduce the moisture content of the mixed raw material and preparing a first mixture having the mixed raw material mixed with the ladle slag and the gypsum; a mixing step of preparing a second mixture by mixing the first mixture with a binder; and a molding step of manufacturing a briquette by molding the second mixture. |
