LIGHT EMITTING UNIT, BACKLIGHT ASSEMBLY HAVING THE SAME, AND DISPLAY APPARATUS

A backlight assembly includes a light emitting unit, a reflective sheet, and a bottom cover. The light emitting unit includes a light source to emit light and an optical system. The optical system is separately bent in the emission direction of the light emitted from the light source, reflects a part of the light emitted from the light source, and transmits the remaining part of light emitted from the light source. The reflective sheet is arranged on the lower side of the light emitting unit and reflects the light reflected in the optical system again. The bottom cover receives the light emitting unit and the reflective sheet. According to the backlight assembly, the light orientation angle of the light emitting unit is widened.
