<p>Disclosed is a semiconductor device including a circuit controlling power consumption. The semiconductor including an input and output terminal and a retaining circuit controls a switch not to operate an inverter loop of the retaining circuit, while the input and output terminal is used, and controls the switch to operate the inverter loop while the input and output terminal is not used. The power consumption of the retaining circuit can be reduced. An OS transistor is preferably applied to the switch.</p> |
