Drive shaft and method of producing the same

The drive shaft (10) has a base body (12), a worm wheel (14) on a portion (18a) of the base body, and a pinion (16) on another portion (18b) of the base body, where an intermediate portion (18c) is provided between the former portion and the latter portion of the base body. A torsion spring (20) and/or a torsion bar is provided in the intermediate portion of the base body, where the base body, the worm wheel, the pinion, and the torsion spring are formed of plastic and/or rubber. The worm wheel and/or the pinion are pressed on the base body. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for manufacturing a drive shaft (2) a method for manufacturing an electromechanical brake booster.
