The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device and, more specifically, to a liquid crystal display device, in which a light blocking portion is arranged on an inner surface of a side surface portion of a case to prevent light from being transmitted to the front of a liquid crystal panel through space between the liquid crystal panel and the case covering the side surface of the liquid crystal panel, wherein the light is emitted from a light source to pass through between a contact surface of a cushion pad and the bottom surface of the liquid crystal panel, transmitting to an outer direction of the liquid crystal panel. To achieve this, the liquid crystal display device according to the present invention includes a liquid crystal display module provided with a liquid crystal panel having a side surface exposed; and a case configured to cover the liquid crystal display module except the front of the liquid crystal panel, wherein a light blocking portion is arranged on an inner surface of a side surface portion of the case to prevent light transmitted from the liquid crystal display module to the side surface portion from being transmitted to the front of the liquid crystal panel through space between the liquid crystal panel and the case. |
