The present invention provides a phosphorus group of methacrylic acid having greater than 70 wt%, or greater than or equal to 72 wt% and less than or equal to 99 wt% of a methacrylic acid anhydride group, which has not yet been reached, for the total wight of polymer methacrylic acid and/or salt unit, and a telomer copolymer composition including the methacrylic acid anhydride groups. The composition has greater heat stability over existing compositions and ease of processing without the removal of liquid or solvent.
