A method for operating an object of user equipment according to the present invention includes a step of displaying at least one object on a display unit; a step of detecting a multi-finger hovering gesture which selects the object displayed on the display unit; a step of driving a camera in response to the multi-finger hovering gesture; a step of recognizing the hand of a user based on an image collected from the camera; and a step of changing the selected object to a power transmission standby status when the recognized hand of the user disappears within a viewing angle of the camera.
