<p>The wheel 1 is driven by a dedicated in-wheel motor drive unit 2. The suspension of the wheel 1 is carried out by an upper arm 6, a lower arm 7, a third link 8, and a shock absorber 9 via a case 4 of the unit 2. The inner side base ends in the vehicle width direction 6a and 7a of the arms 6 and 7 are supported in a swingable manner by the vehicle body in the up and down direction. The free end 6b of the arm 6 is pivoted in a swingable manner in the up and down direction at the upper end of the third link 8, and the lower end of the third link 8 is pivoted in a swingable manner to a piston rod 9a of the shock absorber 9. The upper side fixing seat 11 of the case 4 is attached to the link 8 to be able to pivot around the king pin axis Kp, and the lower side fixing seat 12 of the case 4 is attached to the free end 7b of the lower arm 7 to be able to pivot around the king pin axis Kp.
