Method for starting a solar thermal power plant

The method involves starting a solar thermal power plant with a steam generator (B) and a reheater (Z), and supplying solar thermal heated heat transfer medium (M). Injection of coolant into the reheater is carried out with the solar thermal heated heat transfer medium while temperature of the solar thermal heated heat transfer medium exceeds average fluid temperature of the reheater. A controllable valve (RZ) is arranged into a supply line of the reheater and partially opened if the average fluid temperature exceeds a predetermined temperature. An independent claim is also included for a solar thermal power plant.
