Disclosed is a fragrance generator for a vehicle having an improved sealing structure to have a simple assembling structure between a cartridge and a main body and to further improve an airtight structure of the cartridge. The fragrance generator for a vehicle includes a cartridge having a vent hole formed at one side to introduce and discharge air and a carrier containing a fragrance formed inside; and a main body fastened to the cartridge to cover the vent hole and selectively opening/closing the vent hole to emit the fragrance contained in the cartridge to a passenger compartment of the vehicle, wherein a clearance is formed between top and bottom connection surfaces of the main body and the cartridge, the main body and the cartridge are fastened by a hook, the main body is moved in a vertical direction with respect to the cartridge to be mounted and detached, and a sealing member is disposed between the connection surfaces of the main body and the cartridge. Therefore, the sealing structure of the cartridge is changed to maintain airtightness when the cartridge is mounted, and assembling ability can be improved by facilitating vertical operation when replacing a fragrance.
