摘要 A toner composition includes: a resin; a selective wax; and toner particles containing a selective colorant, wherein the resin is a three emulsion system including: an emulsion core including a base polymer; an emulsion cell including a cell polymer: and emulsion gel and a glass transition temperature Tg of the emulsion core is lower than that Tg of the emulsion cell. A method for preparing a toner composition includes: mixing an emulsion core resin including a base polymer, an emulsion gel and a selective additive; adding a coagulant and an acid; homogenizing slurry; raising temperature of the resultant mixture near to a glass transition temperature of the emulsion core resin while stirring the resultant mixture to form aggregated particles in a size of about 3 to 9 micrometers; adding an emulsion cell resin to the slurry at an adjustable speed to form ash including core and toner particles having a cell; adding a pH adjusting agent to the ash to stop growth of the toner particles; raising a temperature to an incorporating temperature higher than the glass transition temperature of the cell to incorporate the ash; checking particle circularity of the ash; and recovering the toner particles.
