A capture tube tool for delivering and releasing a self-expanding stent includes a core wire. A proximal part of the stent is included on the core wire in order to be removed by means of a distal part of a tube-type capture sleeve. In an embodiment, one or more long members extending through a corresponding opening, through the capture sleeve, and to the outside of a distal end of the capture sleeve divides the tube-type capture sleeve so as to be pulled so that the stent can be released. In another embodiment, the capture sleeve is pulled towards a proximal direction on one or more stopping members provided on the core wire so that the stent can be released. |
