The present invention relates to a spandex fiber, comprising: a polyurethane-based resin; a phenol-based resin; and a polyurethane-based anti-oxidant agent, wherein the phenol-based resin is contained at a content of 0.5-2.0 wt% and the polyurethane-based antioxidant agent is contained at a content of 0.1-5 wt%; and to a method to prepare a spandex fiber, wherein the method comprising the steps of: preparing a polyurethane prepolymer by reacting polyetherglycol and aromatic diisocyanate under a nitrogen ambience; preparing a polyurethane solution by adding aliphatic diamine to the polyurethane prepolymer; preparing a spinning stock solution by adding a phenol-based antioxidant agent and polyurethane-based antioxidant agent, as discoloration-resistant agents, to the polyurethane solution; and spinning the spinning stock solution. The spandex fiber of the present invention has excellent discoloration resistance against smog, UV, or UV light, and excellent resistance against cytotoxicity. |
