The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing silver nanowires fulfilling diameters and lengths demanded as a flexible transparent electrode material. The method of manufacturing the silver nanowires comprises: (a) a step of preparing a first solution including silver salt and a polyol solvent, and a second solution including a capping reagent, a halogen catalyst, and the polyol solvent; (b) a step of heating the second solution; and (c) a step of preparing the silver nanowires by mixing the first solution with the second solution. By controlling reducing power of metal and controlling the diameter, the length, and a ratio of the major axis end of the silver nanowires, the present invention may improve yield of the silver nanowires, which have an average diameter of 30 nm or less and a length of 25-35μm demanded as a flexible transparent conductive film and have a high ratio of the major axis end, to more than 90% of inputted silver salt. |
