An embodiment of the present invention relates to a device and a method to process an image in an electronic device. The electronic device comprises: a first image sensor to generate a first image data; a second image sensor to generate a second image data; one or more image processing units to process either or both the first image data or/and the second image data; a display unit to display either or both the first image data or/and the second image data which is/are image-processed by one or more image processing units; and a thumbnail generating unit to generate a thumbnail data using either or both the first image data or/and the second image data which is/are image-processed by one or more image processing units.
