The present invention relates to an apparatus for treating wastewater, which includes: (A) a magnetizer capable of increasing efficiency of treatment; (B) a line mixer (200) which acts as an agitator that mixes agents, sewage and wastewater, and contains a plurality of element plates therein; (C) a tangential flow mixer (300) which is a non-motorized reactor and guides flow of the sewage and wastewater in a tangential direction to make a spiral flow of the sewage along the outer wall thereof; and (D) a filtration tank (400) which is a device for removing pollutants included in the sewage and the wastewater, having a multi-staged separation layer installed therein and the fiber balls and plastic balls mixed and filled between an even layer or an odd layer.
