PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method which can improve the recovery rate of the production amount of refined water to the raw water amount.SOLUTION: A method of producing medial refined water by an apparatus comprising a raw water tank 1, an active carbon unit 3, an NF unit 4, an RO unit 5 and an RO water tank 6 includes a step of treating the whole of the concentrated water produced in the NF unit 4 by a first UF unit 7 and returning the permeable water to the raw water tank 1, and a step of returning the whole of the concentrated water produced in the RO unit 5 to the raw water tank 1.
