<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine for vehicle, capable of executing power generation suppression reliably even when switching elements for performing synchronous rectification break down.SOLUTION: A vehicle generator 1 comprises: an abnormality determination section 123 which determines whether an abnormality is present in MOS transistors 50 and 51 on the basis of an X-phase voltage of a stator coil 2 connected to a rectifier module 5X, and an F-terminal voltage (a drive duty) detected by an excitation on/off determination section 124; and an excitation current stop switch driving signal sending section 170 which stops supply of an excitation current by driving a MOS switch 40 connected to a field coil 4 when the abnormality determination section 123 determines that an abnormality is generated.</p> |
