PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawing update controller capable of reducing a load required for map drawing by avoiding unnecessary updating of a map.SOLUTION: A drawing update controller 1 includes: control means 10 that controls plural kinds of processing including navigation processing to display an own-vehicle position on a map screen; and drawing determination means 20 that determines the necessity of updating of map drawing in the navigation processing. The drawing determination means 20 determines the necessity of updating of the map drawing based on the scale of a map displayed. The control means 10 can use the load for the map drawing determined as unnecessary by the drawing determination means 20, for other processing. |
