Module for a modular roof comprising at least two supporting members, each supporting member comprising at least one top chord and at least one bottom chord, top and bottom chord enclosing an acute angle, and one or more stud members connecting top and bottom chords, one or more purlins attached to the top chords of successive supporting members and a number of rafters running transverse to the purlins and attached to the purlins, wherein the supporting members and the purlins are made of steel and wherein the rafters are timber rafters. The invention further provides a method for manufacturing a roof module, which may be assembled at ground level and lifted to roof level and a method for weathering the joints between modules. |
