According to the present invention, a display apparatus includes: a display panel having a plurality of pixels; and first and second light source units that are arranged on the back side of the liquid crystal panel and provide first color light and second color light, which have different wavelength bands, to the liquid crystal panel. The first light source unit includes: a first light source emitting light having a first wavelength band; and a light conversion part which converts the light having the first wavelength band to the first color light having a wavelength band different from the first wavelength band. The second light source unit includes a second light source, which has the same color as that of the light having the first wavelength band and emits the second color light having a wavelength band different from that of the first color light.
