PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device which can stably stack a recorded medium on a stack part without degrading a recording speed.SOLUTION: A recording device includes: a recording head 9 which can record on a recorded medium P; a conveying mechanism R which conveys the recorded medium P; a stack part 17 which can stack the recorded medium P; and a discharge roller Rd which sandwiches the recorded medium P conveyed by the conveying mechanism R and discharges from a sandwiching position to the stack part 17. A discharge speed v2 of the discharge roller Rd in discharging the recorded medium P by the discharge roller Rd is lower than a conveying speed v1 of the conveying mechanism R when the recorded medium P passes through a recording region by the recording head 9. The conveying speed of the conveying mechanism is maintained when the recorded medium passes through the recording region by the recording head and when the recorded medium P is discharged by the discharge roller Rd. |
