PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly perform transition from power cut-off state to power supply state.SOLUTION: When a main power source switch 41 is operated and power is supplied, ready-mode is set. When a user 60 is near an image processing apparatus 10, the user is highly likely to use the image processing apparatus 10, so that the convenience to immediately set the ready-mode take precedence. When the main power source switch 41 is not operated and power is supplied, an operation mode is selected according to an operation mode stored in a non-volatile memory 18M. When the operation mode stored in the non-volatile memory 18M is off-mode, the off-mode is selected. When the operation mode stored in the non-volatile memory 18M is the ready-mode, the ready-mode is selected. The same operation mode is set before and after power interruption, thereby eliminating a difference from the operation mode predicted by the user 60. |
