The multi-channel detector 10 includes an optical system (provided with a function of chromatic dispersion of light in an optical path) for irradiating a flow cell 12 supplied with a sample by light from a light source 11 and outputting the light transmitted through the flow cell, a multi-channel detector 13 disposed on the output side of the optical system to receive the light subjected to chromatic dispersion, and a signal processing circuit 14 connected to the detector 13. The signal processing circuit is provided with a function of obtaining absorbance in accordance with formula (absorbance)=-log(I/Io) where I is a quantity of light at a wavelength as a measurement object outputted from the detector and Io is a reference quantity of light as an average value of quantities of light at a plurality of different wavelengths at the same time as the wavelength as the measurement object.
