<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display 3D video and 2D video in a suitable changing manner by determining a viewing state of a viewer.SOLUTION: A display section (115) of a display device (100) can display 2D video and 3D video. A camera section (110) images a viewer who views the display device (100). A CPU (107) analyzes an image picked up by the camera section (110), determines a state of viewers including the number of the viewers and whether the viewers put on 3D spectacles for viewing the 3D video, and controls display of the display section (115) according to a determination result. Here, when it is determined based upon the image picked up by the camera section (110) that there is a viewer who puts on 3D spectacles, the display device (115) is made to display the 3D video.</p> |
