<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage space extension system and its method capable of extending the storage space of a network device without increasing a new storage device.SOLUTION: A storage space extension method includes: a step of setting an order in which a plurality of cloud storage spaces support network equipment; a step of receiving new data to be stored by the network equipment; a step of checking whether or not the surplus capacity of a local storage space is smaller than a set value; a step of, when the surplus capacity is not smaller than the set value, storing the new data in the local storage space; and a step of, when the surplus capacity is smaller than the set value, successively storing old data in the local storage space in the corresponding cloud storage spaces until the surplus capacity becomes smaller than the set value, and deleting copied data in the local storage space.</p> |
