PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust boot that exhibits functional characteristics improved more than conventional products for a longer use period, and a method of manufacturing the dust boot.SOLUTION: A cylindrical dust boot made of a rubber elastic body includes: a first fitting part 1 formed at one axial end; a second fitting part 2 formed at the other end; a film part 3 formed between both the fitting parts 1, 2; a first reinforcement ring 4 provided integrally with the first fitting part 1, and a second auxiliary ring 5 provided integrally with the second fitting part 2. The film part 3 is formed in a bellows shape, and a third internal diameter 8 as its maximum internal diameter is larger than any of a first internal diameter 6 as an internal diameter of the first reinforcement ring 4 and a second internal diameter 7 as an internal diameter of the second reinforcement ring. |
