PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorine-containing polymer consisting of a copolymer of polyfluoroalkyl alcohol (meth)acrylic acid derivative showing a low degree of bioaccumulation and having a perfluoroalkyl group having 6 or less of carbon atoms, and to provide a surface modifier containing the same as an active ingredient.SOLUTION: There is provided a fluorine-containing polymer consisting of at least one kind of copolymer of (A) polyfluoroalkyl alcohol (meth)acrylic acid derivative CF(CHCF)(CFCF)(CHCH)OCOCR=CHwhere R represents H or a methyl group, Rrepresents an alkyl group or an aralkyl group, CH=CRCOORY, where R represents H or a methyl group, Rrepresents an alkylene group, Y represents crosslinkable functional group, and CH=CRCOO(RO)R, where R represents H or a methyl group, Rrepresents an alkylene group, Rrepresents H, an alkyl group or an aromatic group, l is an integer of 1 to 50. There is also provided a surface modifier containing the same. |
