PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data storage device and a method for safe data access.SOLUTION: A method for locking a hybrid drive according to unauthorized access, includes the steps of: receiving first password data from a non-volatile storage device of the hybrid drive; receiving second password data from a magnetic storage device of the hybrid drive; comparing the first password data with the second password data; and locking the hybrid drive when the first password data does not match the second password data. |
