摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extremely reduce a hot crack and a cold crack, even if a pass number is few, by dispensing with a gouging process as compared with a conventional multilayer weld method.SOLUTION: A submerged arc weld method is provided for welding double sides of a steel plate molded in a tubular shape of exceeding 40 mm in a plate thickness, and includes a process of forming a first weld part 91, by applying weld of low heat input to a first groove part 82 by one pass 1 layer, by allowing the steel plate to have a groove-shaped joining part 81 in which the cross-sectional area in the first groove part 82 on one surface side is formed larger than the cross-sectional area in a second groove part 83 on the other surface side, a process of forming a second weld part 92 by applying one layer weld of high heat input to the second groove part 83 until weld metal in the second groove part 83 goes over a surface of the steel plate and a process of forming a third weld part 93 by applying multilayer weld to the first groove part 82.
