PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing system which can maintain a mobile terminal in a use state, even when a user uses the mobile terminal in a passive operation.SOLUTION: A holding device has: prevention means for cooperating with holding means which holds a mobile terminal to prevent the mobile terminal from being fallen; detection means for detecting whether or not the prevention means is in the fall prevention state in which the prevention means can prevent the mobile terminal from being fallen; holding device which includes connection means for transmitting detection results obtained from the detection means to the mobile terminal so that the mobile terminal can determine whether or not the prevention means is in the fall prevention state; and the mobile terminal for restricting or cancelling a predetermined function on the basis of the detection results transmitted from the holding device.
