FIBER-REINFORCED POLYPROPYLENE RESIN COMPOSITION FOR FOAMING AND MOLDED BODY PRODUCED BY FOAM MOLDING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition that has good moldability and a high expansion ratio and can produce a polypropylene foam molded body having high rigidity in the field of injection foam molding and to provide a polypropylene foam molded body using the resin composition.SOLUTION: A fiber-reinforced polypropylene resin composition for foam molding contains, based on 100 pts.wt. of a propylene resin component (A) polymerized by a metallocene catalyst and having a specific melting peak temperature (Tm) and a specific melt flow rate as determined by the DSC method, 8-150 pts.wt. of at least one kind of fiber (B) selected from the group consisting of a glass fiber and a carbon fiber. The injection foam molded body is produced by foam molding the fiber-reinforced polypropylene resin composition for foam molding.
