PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twist ball type electronic paper capable of suppressing positional deviation of a plurality of twist ball sheets of a twist ball layer.SOLUTION: The twist ball type electronic paper includes: a transparent electrode substrate having a transparent electrode formed on a transparent substrate; a counter electrode substrate having a counter electrode formed on the counter substrate; a sealing part that seals between the transparent electrode substrate and the counter electrode substrate; and a twist ball sheet having twist balls and a solvent layer including a solvent. The twist ball type electronic paper further includes: a twist ball layer having a plurality of the twist ball sheets arranged in parallel between the transparent electrode substrate and the counter electrode substrate; and a fixed portion placed between the twist ball sheets arranged between the transparent electrode substrate and the counter electrode substrate, with a position in a planar view fixed with regard to the transparent electrode substrate and the counter electrode substrate, and configured to fix a position in a planar view of the twist ball sheet with regard to the transparent electrode substrate and the counter electrode substrate. |
