PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active silencer which ensures both a convergence speed and a divergence in updating a control filter and an active silencing method.SOLUTION: An active silencer has: a reference microphone for generating a reference signal corresponding to a control object sound; a filter for generating a control signal from the reference signal; a control speaker for generating a control sound from the control signal; an error microphone for generating an error signal corresponding to a synthetic sound of the control object sound and the control sound; a filter update part for updating the filter so as to minimize the error signal; and an adjustment mechanism for changing control parameters for updating on the basis of the error signal. |
