摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive method of an electrooptic device, a drive device of the electrooptic device, the electrooptic device, electronic equipment and the like capable of securing a long term reliability.SOLUTION: A drive method of an electrophoretic display device 10 including a pixel electrode 62, a counter electrode 64 and an electrophoretic element 66 having a plurality of electrophoretic particles 174, 176 provided between a pixel electrode 62 and the counter electrode 64 includes: a color setting step (step S3); and a DC reset step (step S4). In the color setting step, one or more types of drive voltages are applied between the pixel electrode 62 and the counter electrode 64 so that the plurality of electrophoretic particles 174, 176 is set to a first state. In the DC reset step, the drive voltage for resetting an integrated value of the drive voltage and a drive time in the color setting step is applied between the pixel electrode 62 and the counter electrode 64.
