PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical signal buffer memory circuit capable of giving an infinite optical delay quantity without inviting wave deterioration with a simple structure.SOLUTION: Phase modulation means R1-1, L1-1 are driven first using an optical signal string Data-1 synchronized with the clock of a clock signal light CLK-1 and after that using an optical signal string CLK-1-out-DMZ1, a phase difference is caused in a RZ type clock signal light CLK-1 that propagates through two optical interference arms, the optical signal string CLK-1-out-DMZ1 output from an optical output port P-MZ-1-bar is made to circulate to an optical branch part C-1 as the same data pattern as a data pattern of the optical signal string Data-1 by turning ON or OFF each pulse of the clock signal light, the data pattern is maintained inside an optical signal buffer memory circuit, and a light reception part f3 is provided in an optical input output port a3 where an optical phase modulation control signal light such as the phase modulation means R1-1, L1-1 and the like are output. |
