PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum pump in which a rotor and a shaft can be easily fastened and disassembled.SOLUTION: A fitting part between a rotor side fitting hole 301 and a shaft side fitting shaft 331 and a fitting part between a rotor side fitting protrusion 302 and a shaft side fitting groove 332 are provided in a vacuum pump. Diameters A to D of the respective parts are set so that a clearance Cr between the rotor side fitting hole 301 and the shaft side fitting shaft 331 is smaller than a clearance Cs between the rotor side fitting protrusion 302 and the shaft side fitting groove 332 at ordinary temperatures. In addition, the diameters A to D of the respective parts are set so that the clearance Cs between the rotor side fitting protrusion 302 and the shaft side fitting groove 332 is smaller than the clearance Cr between the rotor side fitting hole 301 and the shaft side fitting shaft 331 when the temperatures of a rotor 30 and a shaft 33 exceed a predetermined temperature Ts. |
