PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alleviate, when relatively large camera shake is corrected, an influence on an imaging operation.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 100, which performs camera shake correction, includes: a camera shake determination part 5b for determining whether a camera shake amount at the time of imaging a subject is more than a predetermined value; an importance level specifying part 5c for, when the camera shake amount has been determined as being more than the predetermined value, specifying an importance level of information in an end portion of image information; an importance level determination part 5d for determining whether the specified importance level of the information in the end portion is higher than a predetermined value; and an operation control part 5e for causing execution of deterioration reduction processing, by which deterioration of the image information is reduced, in subject imaging processing when the importance level of the information in the end portion has been determined as being higher than the predetermined value, and prohibiting the execution of the deterioration reduction processing in the subject imaging processing when the importance level of the information in the end portion has not been determined as being higher than the predetermined value. |
