PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve air-fuel ratio control with increased accuracy by absorbing variations in output characteristics of individual Osensors.SOLUTION: A control device of an internal combustion engine comprises: an Osensor installed on an exhaust passage of the internal combustion engine; element temperature detection means to detect an element temperature of the Osensor; and a heater to activate the Osensor. The control device performs control in a manner that: detects an output value of the Osensor; obtains a relation between the detected element temperature of the Osensor and the output value of the Osensor detected by sensor output value detection means; compares the obtained relation between the element temperature and the output value of the Osensor with a preliminarily stored reference value; and corrects a fuel injection amount on the basis of a difference between the relation and the reference value. |
