PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muffler with a catalytic converter capable of stably supporting the catalytic converter by a single diaphragm in a muffler box.SOLUTION: In the muffler with a catalytic converter which stores a catalytic converter 34 in a muffler box 22, the muffler box 22 is constituted by connecting three outer circumferential edges of first and second box half bodies 23, 24 of which open surfaces are abutted on each other and a diaphragm 25 interposed therebetween, a first muffler chamber 27 which ranges to an exhaust inlet pipe 29 and a second muffler chamber 28 which ranges to a tail pipe 43 are demarcated respectively between the first box half body 23 and the diaphragm 25, and between the second box half body 24 and the diaphragm 25, a pair of support bosses 33a, 33b which are respectively protruded to the first and second muffler chambers 27, 28 sides are formed on the diaphragm 25, and a retention cylinder 36 of the catalytic converter 34 which communicates the first and second muffler chambers 27, 28 with each other is supported by both of the support bosses. |
