摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time and effort for subfield code setting.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing an electro-optic device includes the steps of: supplying a test signal which causes a change in optical state of a liquid crystal element, to a liquid crystal panel having the liquid crystal element; measuring a response of the optical state of the liquid crystal element due to the test signal; preparing, in accordance with difference liquid crystal responses, a plurality of subfield code sets each of which indicates a combination of binary voltage values applied in each of a plurality of subfields into which a prescribed unit period is divided; selecting one subfield code set from the plurality of subfield code sets in accordance with the measured response; and writing information specifying the one selected subfield code set into a storage device corresponding to the liquid crystal panel.
