PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To externalize an integration process and support learning activity.SOLUTION: A learning support system (10) comprises: a display device (12); and a controller (14) for controlling display of an object on a screen of the display device. The controller (14) displays on the screen: an arithmetic story problem(101); a part having an amount regarding the arithmetic story problem conceptually expressed (102); and a selection button (103) of an arithmetic triangular block (105) which is a block having three apexes capable of having parts suitably arranged and expressing an arithmetic relationship between the amounts expressed by parts arranged to three apexes by a binary operator. The correctness of an intermediate solution created by the learner on the screen by suitably selecting the arithmetic triangular block on the screen, making a plurality of combinations hierarchically, suitably arranging parts on respective apexes of these arithmetic triangular blocks is determined. When the intermediate solution is correct, the amounts made clear in the arithmetic story problem are substituted to respective parts on the screen and the correctness of a final solution created by having the learner substitute the amounts to the remaining parts with no input of amounts on the screen is determined. |
