PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of preventing a circulation flow rate shortage of a hydrogen off-gas caused by a response lag of an ejector when switching hydrogen off-gas circulation by a hydrogen pump to hydrogen off-gas circulation by the ejector.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system comprises: a hydrogen supply passage 2 which supplies a hydrogen gas to a fuel cell 1; a first hydrogen circulation passage 3 and a second hydrogen circulation passage 5 which circulate the hydrogen off-gas discharged from the fuel cell 1 to the hydrogen supply passage 2; an ejector 4 provided between the hydrogen supply passage 2 and the first hydrogen circulation passage 3; a hydrogen pump 6 of the second hydrogen circulation passage 5; and an injector 9 which adjusts a hydrogen gas flow rate of the ejector 4. A controller 30 mainly secures the hydrogen gas flow rate of the ejector 4 by the injector 9 and stops the hydrogen pump 6 when switching first control mode in which the hydrogen off-gas is circulated by the hydrogen pump 6 and the second hydrogen circulation passage 5 to second control mode in which the hydrogen off-gas is circulated by the ejector 4 and the first hydrogen circulation passage 3. |
