PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform attenuation force control suitable for magnitude of vibration of a spring lower member, and to improve ride quality.SOLUTION: A damper control device E for controlling attenuation force of a damper D by giving a control command to an attenuation force adjustment part 4 capable of adjusting the attenuation force of the damper D interposed between a spring upper member B and a spring lower member W in a vehicle, comprises: a vibration level detection part 1 for detecting vibration level r which presents magnitude of vibration D of the spring lower member; a stroke speed detection part 2 for detecting stroke speed Vd of the damper D; and a command value calculation part 3 for determining control command value I to be given to the attenuation force adjustment part 4 based on the vibration level r and the stroke speed Vd. |
