PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball that causes little peeling of a coated film during consecutive hits of the ball even when the ball surface is coated with coating-material and also has a good appearance and good mold releasability.SOLUTION: A golf ball comprises a core coated with one or more cover layers. A material of at least one of the cover layers consists mainly of thermoplastic polyurethane material and includes a lubricant consisting mainly of montanic acid ester.
