<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clothing processing device capable of suppressing an electric power consumption and efficiently supplying steam to clothing.SOLUTION: The clothing processing device includes: a housing tub 200 for housing clothing; a steam supply mechanism 300 for supplying steam to the housing tub; a steam generator 420 provided in the steam supply mechanism and having a wall surface defining a chamber for generating steam; a heater 425 for heating the wall surface; and a water supply mechanism 500 for ejecting water to the wall surface heated by the heater. The water supply mechanism includes: a connection pipe 421 for supplying water to the steam generator; an inflow port 437 which the connection pipe is connected to and is for ejecting water into the steam generator; and a temperature detection element provided in the connection pipe. The temperature change in water supplied to the steam generator is detected by the temperature detection element to adjust the quantity of water supplied to the steam generator. Thus, it is possible to suppress electric power consumption and efficiently supply steam to clothing.</p> |
