PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power amplifier for amplifying the power of a radio signal, particularly an asymmetric Doherty power amplifier that has a carrier amplifier and peak amplifiers and covers a wide band in a simple circuit.SOLUTION: A carrier amplifier 21 and a plurality of peak amplifiers 31, 41 having the same saturation power as the carrier amplifier 21 are disposed in parallel. An input signal is evenly distributed to the carrier amplifier 21 and the plurality of peak amplifiers 31, 41. Input matching circuits 24, 34, 44 having the same circuit are disposed on input sides of the carrier amplifier 21 and the plurality of peak amplifiers 31, 41, respectively. Output matching circuits 25, 35, 45 having the same circuit are disposed on output sides of the carrier amplifier 21 and the plurality of peak amplifiers 31, 41, respectively. An output signal of the carrier amplifier 21 and output signals of the plurality of peak amplifiers 31, 41 are combined to be output. |
