PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for formation of a conductive pattern allowing easy formation of a conductive pattern by using a metal nanowire and a transparent conductive substrate and their production methods.SOLUTION: A substrate 1 for formation of a conductive pattern includes a transparent resin substrate 2 having a convexoconcave pattern 20 on the surface and a transparent resin layer 3 packed in the concave parts 21 of the convexoconcave pattern 20, and a first resin contained in the transparent resin substrate 2 and a second resin contained in the transparent resin layer 3 are different in affinity for an arbitrary solvent for swelling. A transparent conductive substrate 2 has transparent conductive parts 11 composed of a metal fiber embedded in the surface of the transparent layer 3 and non-conductive parts 12 formed on the surface of the convex parts 22 of the convexoconcave pattern 20 of the transparent resin substrate 2.
