PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element with high preventiveness against forgery, and highly reliable security.SOLUTION: An optical element includes: a diffraction grating 11 configured to, in incidence of light having a previously determined wavelength and angle, diffract the incident light in a previously determined angle; a carbon layer 13 laminated on the diffraction grating 11 in a previously determined pattern and configured to absorb light having a previously determined wavelength; and a concealment black ink layer 14 laminated on the diffraction grating 11 with the carbon layer 13 so as to conceal the carbon layer 13 and configured to transmit light having a previously determined wavelength. |
