PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote growth of lawn roots in order to improve root spread, and to provide a growth-promoting agent enabling lawn growth promotion in sodded areas in the case in which lawn propagation is via vegetative propagation (sodding), i.e., through runner elongation (internode elongation), as well as a method of using the same.SOLUTION: This invention relates to the use of a compound (chemical name: N-[2-(l,3- dimethylbutyl)phenyl]-5-fluoro-1,3-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-4-carboxamide, generic name: penflufen) as represented in formula (I), or an agriculturally acceptable salt thereof. |
